Expect LA's Independent Watchmaking Event to Return in 2026
Last Saturday, June 7, 2025, Hollywood played host to LA’s first and only event dedicated exclusively to independent watchmaking: Collective Horology’s annual Open House. The event was completely sold out, underscoring both its growing reputation and the strong interest in independent watches among collectors from Southern California and across the United States.
Held at The Aster in Hollywood, Open House welcomed a full slate of leading independent brands, including Czapek & Cie, Garrick Watchmakers, MING, Sartory‑Billard, Singer Reimagined, Speake Marin, and Carl Suchy & Söhne. Also in attendance was STANDARD H, presenting a curated display of watch‑inspired apparel and accessories.

Representatives from each brand were on hand throughout the day to connect with guests, walk them through current collections, and preview what’s next—making the event as much about conversation as it was about watches.
Open House will return in 2026, with plans already underway to expand the event further. Based on this year’s momentum, expect another sell-out—and more reasons for LA collectors to mark their calendars.
