A Movement Finished Twice

The Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue replaces the metal dial with a disc of sapphire crystal, leaving Czapek's in-house Calibre SXH7 fully visible from both sides of the case. Its blue fumé gradient is not paint or tint but metallization — a vapour-deposited pattern of eight-micron dots, dense at the rim and thinning toward the small seconds at 4:30 — so the centre of the dial stays entirely clear. Behind it, a fully skeletonised automatic movement with seven openworked bridges, a reversed escapement and a recycled-platinum micro-rotor is hand-finished identically front and back, doubling the work of a movement decorated on one face alone. Housed in the Promenade's 38mm steel case at just 10.8mm thick, it is limited to 38 pieces.
