This Maze Has an Answer, Sometimes

Jules Wittock draws mazes freehand, each one hiding a single word along its one path from entrance to exit. Ressence put one on the Type 9's rotating dial, which means it doesn't sit still the way it would on canvas — the discs are always turning, so the path keeps drifting out of alignment. Only at midnight and midday does everything line up and the hidden word becomes readable. The rest of the day, you're looking at a maze that hasn't resolved yet. That's the display doing real work, not just a guest artist's name on the dial.
