Perception Perfected

Perception V3 is the fullest expression yet of Atelier Wen's Sino-French identity. Inside sits the Pequignet EPM03, a French independent calibre customized with finishing that builds Chinese cultural motifs directly into the movement — bridges shaped as the traditional representation of wind, filled with mirror-polished blue aventurine lacquer beneath a full sapphire exhibition caseback. The dial remains the heart of the watch: hand-turned écailles de poisson guilloché from the workshop of Cheng Yucai, China's first guilloché master craftsman. The 904L stainless steel case and bracelet draw their lines from traditional Chinese architecture, refined here with sharper transitions and more extensive hand polishing than V2. Three variants are offered: the returning Piāo (ice-blue) and Xiá (salmon) in brushed and mirror-polished steel, and Yún — the first new Perception reference in four years — in bamboo green with a micro-frosted finish across the case and bracelet.
