The Original Ressence

The Type 1 was Ressence’s first full-production watch, the one that took the brand’s original no-hands concept and made it something you could actually buy. Everything since descends from it. This version keeps that same display and adds something new to it: a 4N rose gold plating on the dial, the brand’s first use of that finish, while the case itself stays Grade 5 titanium.

• Crown: none; winding and time/day setting are done via a lever on the case back
• Dial: convex German silver dial with 4N rose gold plating and sunray finish, 125mm radius, three eccentric biaxial satellites inclined at 3° (hours) and 4.75° (seconds and day of week), indications filled with Super-LumiNova
• Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, day of the week
• Case: Grade 5 titanium, 42.7mm diameter, 11mm height
• Crystal: double-domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating
• Water resistance: splash resistant, not rated for submersion
• Strap: Kudu leather, 20/20mm, Ardillon buckle
• Limited edition: 70 pieces
